Ingredients

  • 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • - Green Peas
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 250 g French Beans
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Dry roast the millet in a pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until it emits a nutty aroma, then set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds; once they start to splutter, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, and chopped green chilies, sautéing for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomato and cook until it softens, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. 4. Stir in the green peas, capsicum, and green beans, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still hold their crunch.
  5. 5. Add the roasted millet, turmeric powder, and salt, mixing well with the vegetables.
  6. 6. Pour in enough hot water to just cover the millet and vegetables; reduce heat to low, cover with a lid, and let it cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the millet is soft and water is absorbed.
