Ingredients
- 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Green Peas
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Lemon
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 250 g French Beans
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Dry roast the millet in a pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until it emits a nutty aroma, then set aside.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds; once they start to splutter, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, and chopped green chilies, sautéing for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped tomato and cook until it softens, about 3-4 minutes.
- 4. Stir in the green peas, capsicum, and green beans, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still hold their crunch.
- 5. Add the roasted millet, turmeric powder, and salt, mixing well with the vegetables.
- 6. Pour in enough hot water to just cover the millet and vegetables; reduce heat to low, cover with a lid, and let it cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the millet is soft and water is absorbed.
- 7. Turn off the heat, fluff the millet with a fork, and mix in the chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice.
- 8. Serve hot, garnished with additional coriander if desired.
