Ingredients
- 400 g Cauliflower
- 1 pack (500 g) Natureland Organics Chana Besan
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 1L & Mustard Oil 1L Pet
- 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
- 100 g Jk Jeera Powder / Cumin Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Annapurna Iodized Crystal Salt | Kal Uppu
- 100 g Tata Sampann Whole Spices Cumin Seed
Instructions
- 1. Cut 1 medium cauliflower into small florets and rinse thoroughly.
- 2. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the cauliflower florets, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender but not overly soft. Drain and set aside.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of chickpea flour, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp cumin, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add water to create a smooth, thick batter.
- 4. Heat oil in a frying pan or deep fryer over medium heat.
- 5. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, and carefully place it into the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- 6. Remove the fritters with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 7. Serve the fritters hot with a side of mint chutney or tomato ketchup for dipping.
