- 200 g Green Peas (Peeled)
- 500 g Carrot
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 50 g Sakthi Curry Powder
- 80 g Urban Platter Cayenne Pepper Powder
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
Instructions
- 1. Peel and dice 1 large carrot and finely chop 1/2 cup of onion.
- 2. In a large pot, combine 8 oz of green peas, the diced carrot, and chopped onion.
- 3. Add 1 tsp curry powder, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp sugar to the pot.
- 4. Pour in 5 cups of water and bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peas and carrots are tender.
- 6. Remove the pot from heat and let it cool slightly. Puree the soup in a blender until smooth.
- 7. Return the soup to the pot, reheat if necessary, and adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
