Ingredients

  • 50 g Soaked Almonds
  • 80 g Urban Platter Cayenne Pepper Powder
  • 500 ml Conscious Food Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
  • 1 kg Simply Staples Mineral Rich Sea Salt
  • 100 g Tata Sampann Whole Spices Cumin Seed

Instructions

  1. 1. Place 1/4 cup of coconut oil in a 3-quart microwave-safe casserole dish. Microwave on high for 45 to 60 seconds, or until melted.
  2. 2. Stir in 3/4 teaspoon of sea salt, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seed until well combined.
  3. 3. Add 4 cups of soaked almonds to the mixture, stirring thoroughly to coat the nuts evenly.
  4. 4. Microwave the coated almonds on high for 7 to 9 minutes, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes, until the coconut oil is fully absorbed and the nuts are lightly toasted.
  5. 5. Spread the almonds on a paper towel-lined baking sheet to cool and dry completely.
  6. 6. Once cooled, transfer the almonds to an airtight container for storage.
