Ingredients
- 25 g Parsley
- 100 g Mother Dairy Salted Butter
- 100 g Fruitri Premium Pecan Nuts
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 1000 g Japanese Choice Jasmine Ready To Cook Thai Rice
- 10 g Fresh Thyme
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
Instructions
- 1. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 cup of pecans and sauté for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Remove the pecans from the skillet and set aside.
- 2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 5 tablespoons of butter. Add 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender and translucent.
- 3. Add 2 cups of jasmine rice to the skillet and stir thoroughly to coat the grains with the butter and onion mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the rice is slightly translucent.
- 4. Pour in 4 cups of chicken broth, then add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of thyme, and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper. Stir to combine, cover the skillet, and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15-18 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is fully absorbed.
- 5. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it gently with a fork. Stir in the toasted pecans and 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley. Serve warm.
