Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

- 3. Gradually add 3/4 cup of warm water and 2 tbsp of vegetable oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- 5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 6. While the dough is rising, prepare the filling by mixing 1/2 cup of grated cheese, 1/4 cup of finely chopped bell peppers, and 1/4 cup of finely chopped onions in a bowl.
- 7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 4 equal portions.

- 10. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1/4 cup of baking soda.
- 11. Boil each pretzel sandwich for 30 seconds, then remove with a slotted spoon and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 12. Brush the tops of the pretzel sandwiches with a beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- 13. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 14. Let the pretzel sandwiches cool for a few minutes before serving.
