Ingredients
- 200 g Tendercuts Chicken 65 Boneless
- 500 g X 2 Organically Grown Potato Combo
- 500 g Carrot
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 100 g Celery Stalk
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse 500 g halal chicken thoroughly and place it in a large pot. Add enough water to cover the chicken and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until the chicken is tender.
- 2. While the chicken is cooking, peel and chop 4 potatoes and 4 carrots into bite-sized pieces. Dice 1 onion and slice 2 stalks of celery.
- 3. Once the chicken is tender, remove it from the pot and shred it into smaller pieces. Return the shredded chicken to the pot.
- 4. Add the chopped potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery to the pot. Stir in 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Add more water if needed to cover the ingredients.
- 5. Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft and the flavors are well combined.
- 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot for a wholesome dinner.
