Ingredients
- 500 g Tomato Green
- 300 g Washington Royal Gala Apple (Seb)
- 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
- 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
- 1 pack (200 g) Daily Good Raisin Golden | Kishmish
- 45 g On1Y Cinnamon Powder
- 1 pack (50 g) Tmi Colman Laung Cloves
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop 1.8 kg green tomatoes and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of salt over them. Let them sit for 30 minutes, then drain the excess liquid.
- 2. Peel, core, and finely chop 2.3 kg apples. Add them to the drained tomatoes along with 900 g raisins.
- 3. In a large pot, combine the tomato, apple, and raisin mixture with 120 ml lemon juice, 2 tablespoons cinnamon, 1 tablespoon cloves, and 2.3 kg sugar.
- 4. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the fruits are soft and the mixture thickens, about 45-60 minutes.
- 5. Allow the relish to cool completely before transferring it to sterilized jars or serving as a dinner accompaniment.
