Ingredients
- 25 g Parsley
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 2 Pieces Red & Yellow Bell Pepper - Protected Cultivation
- 100 g Celery Stalk
- 1 Piece Green Zucchini
- 500g to 700g Turkey
- 100 g Dg1 Garlic Powder
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 kg Whole Farm Brown Sugar
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Paste
- 80 g Knorr Vegetables Stock Cubes
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 lb ground turkey, 1 tbsp garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- 3. Place the meatballs in a 13 x 18-inch baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- 4. While the meatballs are baking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion, 1 diced bell pepper, 3 diced stalks of celery, and 1 diced zucchini. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- 5. Stir in 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 small can of tomato paste, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, and a splash of water to thin the sauce to your desired consistency. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- 6. Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and pour the vegetable sauce over the top. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- 7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
