Ingredients

  • 125 g Mooz Butter Garlic & Herbes
  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 75 Nos Oregano Sachet
  • 200 g Delichic Chicken Broth
  • 1 pc (200 g) Amul Sour Cream
  • 430Ml Hellmanns Mayonnaise Squeeze Real
  • 16 g Orika Oregano
  • 10 g Fresh Thyme
  • 100 g Baby Spinach
  • 500 G Star White Pepper Masala Powder
  • 50 g Zoff Premium Indian Bay Leaf
  • 500 ml Colavita White Wine Vinegar
  • 100 g Pasteurised Butter

Instructions

  1. 1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion and sauté until slightly browned, stirring frequently, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. 2. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon thyme, 1/4 teaspoon oregano, and 1/4 teaspoon oregano. Add 1 cup of chicken broth and 1/4 cup of white wine vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. While the broth mixture simmers, rinse 1 bunch of fresh spinach and chop it finely. Set aside.
  4. 4. After the broth mixture has simmered, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool slightly. Remove the bay leaf and skim off any fat.
  5. 5. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sour cream, 1 cup of mayonnaise, the prepared spinach, and 1 can of finely chopped water chestnuts. Mix well.
  6. 6. Gradually stir in the cooled broth mixture into the spinach mixture until fully combined. Adjust seasoning with a pinch of white pepper if desired.
  7. 7. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled with fresh vegetable sticks or diabetic-friendly crackers.
