- 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Black Pepper Powder
- 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
- 1 pack (500 g) Popular Essentials Regular Maida Flour
- 1 pack (500 g) Daily Good Corn Flour/Starch
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup cornmeal, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
- 2. Gradually whisk in 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk until the batter is smooth and has a pancake-like consistency. Add a little more almond milk if the batter is too thick.
- 3. Slice 3 green tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
- 4. Heat 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- 5. Working in batches, dip each tomato slice into the batter, allowing any excess to drip back into the bowl.
- 6. Carefully place the battered tomato slices into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 7. Transfer the fried tomatoes to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
