Crispy Baked Halibut with Parmesan Crust recipe

About this recipe

A quick and delicious pescatarian dinner featuring tender halibut coated in a flavorful parmesan and breadcrumb crust, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 pc (200 g) Amul Sour Cream
  • 50 g The Select Aisle Bread Crumbs
  • 100 g D'Lecta Parmesan Extra Hard Cheese Block
  • 25 g Parsley
  • 125 g Mooz Butter Garlic & Herbes
  • 1 pc (52 g) On1Y Paprika Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and grease a baking pan or broiler pan with butter.
  2. 2. If the halibut is frozen, thaw it completely. Pat the fish dry with paper towels and cut it into 6 equal portions.
  3. 3. In a bowl, mix 1 cup sour cream with 1/4 teaspoon paprika until well combined.
  4. 4. In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, and a pinch of paprika.
  5. 5. Dip each halibut portion into the sour cream mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  6. 6. Roll the coated fish in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crust.
  7. 7. Arrange the fish in a single layer on the prepared baking pan. Pour 1/4 cup melted butter evenly over the fish.
  8. 8. Bake the halibut in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  9. 9. Serve the crispy baked halibut immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
