Ingredients
- 500 g Tomato Green
- 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
- 1 pc (500 ml) Grb Ghee | Bottle | Pure & Classic
- 1 pack (1 kg) Annapurna Iodized Crystal Salt | Kal Uppu
- 1 Combo True Elements Jowar Flour,True Elements Bajra Flour,True Elements Quinoa Flour
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
- 45 g Snapin Cinnamon Powder
Instructions
- 1. Peel and slice 4 green tomatoes into thin rounds and place them in a colander.
- 2. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the tomatoes and let them drain for 15 minutes. Press gently with your hands to remove excess juice.
- 3. Transfer the drained tomato slices to a mixing bowl.
- 4. In a separate bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of flour and 1 cup of sugar. Mix this blend lightly through the tomatoes to coat them evenly.
- 5. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the tomato mixture and stir gently to combine.
- 6. Prepare a crust for a two-crust pie. Line a pie pan with the bottom crust.
- 7. Pour the tomato mixture into the pastry-lined pie pan. Dot the filling with 1 tablespoon of softened butter and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon evenly over the top.
- 8. Cover the pie with the top crust, seal the edges, flute them, and cut small slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
- 9. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
