Ingredients
- 6 pcs Licious Brown Eggs
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch
- 200 g Hello Tempayy Simply Natural Tempeh Crumbles
- 2 x 295 g Britannia Nutrichoice Sugar Free Healthy & Digestive Crackers Cracker - Pack Of 2
- 1 kg Twf Bread Flour T55 - Specialised Maida
- 100 g Zoff Garlic Powder
Instructions
- 1. Crush 1 cup of crackers into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or food processor and place them on a plate.
- 2. In a shallow bowl, beat 2 eggs and mix in 1 tsp of garlic powder.
- 3. Spread 1/2 cup of flour evenly on another plate.
- 4. Take 500 g of tempeh and pat them dry with a paper towel. Coat each piece lightly with the flour, ensuring all sides are covered.
- 5. Dip the floured tempeh into the beaten egg mixture, making sure they are fully coated.
- 6. Press the egg-coated tempeh into the crushed crackers, covering them completely with the crumbs.
- 7. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the breaded tempeh in the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- 8. Remove the tempeh from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Serve immediately.
