Ingredients
- - Besan
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- - Tandoori Seasoning 50g
- 200 g Dahi
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, tandoori masala, cumin seeds, and salt.
- 2. Add finely chopped onion, tomato, green chili, and coriander leaves to the bowl and mix well.
- 3. Gradually add yogurt to the mixture and stir to form a smooth, lump-free batter. Adjust the consistency by adding a little water if needed; it should be pourable but not too runny.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
- 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- 6. Flip the chilla carefully and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and slightly crispy.
- 7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.
- 8. Serve the tandoori masala chilla hot with a side of yogurt or mint chutney for a wholesome breakfast.
