- 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
- 1 bunch Bok Choy
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
- - Rice Vinegar
- 100 g Til
- - Chilli Green 100 G
- 1 bunch Spring Onion
- 100 g Cornflour
- 500 g Sugar
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a small bowl, whisk together tamari, rice vinegar, sugar, and black pepper to create the sauce. Set aside.
- 2. Toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch until evenly coated. Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat. Add the tofu and cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- 3. In the same wok, add the remaining sesame oil. Stir in asafoetida and green chili, cooking for 30 seconds to release the flavors.
- 4. Add bok choy, bell pepper, and spring onions to the wok. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- 5. Return the tofu to the wok and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 6. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the dish and stir gently. Remove from heat and serve hot, optionally with steamed rice or quinoa.
