  • - Fresh Tofu
  • 250 g French Beans
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 396Ml Tamari
  • 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
  • 100 g Til
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Hing Khoda
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat sunflower oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add asafoetida and sauté for 30 seconds to release its aroma.
  2. 2. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, and red chili flakes to the pot. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
  3. 3. Stir in the green beans, cabbage, and bell peppers. Sauté the vegetables for 5-6 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.
  4. 4. Gently add the cubed tofu to the pot and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes to warm the tofu.
  5. 5. Add soy-free tamari sauce and lime juice, mixing well to coat the ingredients evenly.
  6. 6. Pour enough water into the pot to create a broth-like consistency (about 3-4 cups). Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Stir in fresh Thai basil leaves and sesame seeds. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  8. 8. Season the broth with salt to taste, and ladle it into serving bowls. Garnish with extra Thai basil leaves if desired.
