Ingredients

  • 500 g Weikfield Cornstarch Amazingly Versatile Gluten Free
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 150 g Spring Onion (Kandychi Path)
  • 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
  • 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce
  • 500 ml Colavita White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
  • 80 g Urban Platter Cayenne Pepper Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a small bowl, combine 5 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Stir until the sugar dissolves and set aside.
  2. 2. Coat 500 g of chicken pieces evenly with 3 tablespoons of cornstarch.
  3. 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. 4. Add the chicken and 3 minced garlic cloves to the hot oil. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and opaque.
  5. 5. Pour the soy sauce mixture into the skillet with the chicken. Stir-fry for 30 seconds to coat the chicken evenly in the sauce.
  6. 6. Add 3 chopped green onions to the skillet and mix well. Cook for an additional minute.
  7. 7. Serve the stir-fried chicken immediately over quinoa.
