  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 1 bunch Spring Onion
  • 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
  • - Chicken Breast
  • - Urban Platter Sichuan Peppercorns
  • 80 g Soya Sauce
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • - Chili Paste
  • 100 g Cornflour
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 100 g Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, dark soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, sugar, cornstarch, and salt to create the marinade. Add the chicken pieces and coat well. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat a dry pan and toast the Sichuan peppercorns over low heat until aromatic. Crush them lightly using a mortar and pestle and set aside.
  3. 3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
