Ingredients
- 500 ml Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 125 g White Shimeji Mushroom (Anabe)
- 50 g + 30 g Snapin Oregano Seasoning + Chilli Flakes Combo
- 35 g Foodie Puppies Freeze Dried Shrimp Snack
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
- 16 g Orika Oregano
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion and 2 minced garlic cloves, and sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- 2. Stir in 4 oz of sliced white shimeji mushrooms, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of Snapin Oregano Seasoning + Chilli Flakes Combo. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms release their moisture and the mixture begins to thicken slightly.
- 3. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
- 4. Add 1/2 lb of cooked shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat them in the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp are heated through.
- 5. Serve the shrimp and mushroom sauce as is or with a side of toasted bread.
