Ingredients
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 200 g Paneer
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 100G Oleo
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a kadhai or wok over medium heat, and add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Allow them to sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 2. Add the green chilies and finely chopped tomatoes, and cook for 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
- 3. Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, and cook for another 2 minutes to blend the spices with the tomato base.
- 4. Add the diced bell peppers and shredded cabbage, and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still retain a slight crunch.
- 5. Gently fold in the paneer cubes, ensuring they are evenly coated with the spice mixture, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- 6. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- 7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis or steamed rice.
