Ingredients
- 100 Ml Govind Ghee
- 500 g Suji
- 100g Pronature Organic Cashew Nuts100g
- - Toned Milk
- Loose Cardamom
- 500G Madhur Sugar
- 100 g Raisins
- Pcs Saffron
- 500 ml Water
Instructions
- 1. Start by heating a heavy-bottomed pan on medium heat. Add 3 tablespoons of ghee and let it melt.
- 2. Once the ghee is hot, add 1 cup of roasted rava to the pan. Stir continuously to roast it for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes aromatic and slightly golden.
- 3. While the rava is roasting, bring 2 cups of milk to a gentle boil in another saucepan. Add a pinch of saffron strands to the milk to infuse the flavor.
- 4. Add 2 tablespoons of raw cashews and 2 tablespoons of raisins to the roasting rava. Stir and roast for another 2 minutes until the cashews are lightly browned.
- 5. Slowly pour the hot saffron milk into the roasted rava mixture while stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- 6. Add 1/2 cup of sugar to the mixture and stir well until the sugar dissolves completely. Allow it to cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.
- 7. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder over the sheera and mix well.
- 8. Turn off the heat once the mixture thickens to a halwa-like consistency. Garnish with additional cashews and raisins if desired.
- 9. Serve the sheera hot or at room temperature as a sweet treat.
