Ingredients
- 500 g Refined Flour
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 20 g Oregano
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- - Garlic Powder
- 1 Kg Sarwarpanko Breadcrumbs
- 100 g Lemon
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- - Chicken Breast
- 52 g Paprika Powder
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Slice the chicken breasts horizontally into thin fillets. Place each fillet between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound with a mallet or rolling pin to an even thickness of about 1/4 inch.
- 2. Season the chicken fillets on both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- 3. Prepare a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with oregano, garlic powder, and chili flakes (if using).
- 4. Coat each chicken fillet in flour, shaking off the excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally press into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even coating.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the breaded chicken fillets in the pan, ensuring not to overcrowd.
- 6. Fry the fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 7. Serve the schnitzels hot with lemon wedges on the side. Pair with mustard or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
