Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 250g Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
- 500 g Onion
- - Bell Peppers
- 200 g Paneer
- 190 g Schezwan Sauce
- 1 l Refined Soyabean Oil
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
- 100 g Icing Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a wok or large pan. Add 1/2 inch grated ginger and 4 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for 30 seconds until aromatic.
- 2. Add 1 finely chopped onion and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
- 3. Add 1 finely chopped green bell pepper and 1 finely chopped red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until slightly tender.
- 4. Add 200g of cubed paneer and stir-fry for 2 minutes until lightly golden.
- 5. Add 3 tbsp of Schezwan sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, and 1/2 tsp sugar. Mix well to coat the paneer and vegetables.
- 6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly.
- 7. Garnish with 1 tbsp of chopped spring onions and 1 tbsp of chopped coriander. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
