Ingredients
- 200 g Dahi
- 250 g Carrot
- 500 g Onion
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the multigrain idli mix with yogurt and a little water to form a smooth batter. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- 2. While the batter rests, heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add curry leaves and sauté briefly.
- 3. Add chopped onions and green chili to the pan, and sauté until onions turn translucent. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala.
- 4. Add the chopped bell peppers, grated carrot, and tomatoes. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables soften, then season with salt. Set aside the topping.
- 5. Grease idli molds and pour the rested batter into the molds. Steam the idlis for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
- 6. Once the idlis are ready, arrange them in a serving bowl. Top with the prepared vegetable mixture and garnish with coriander leaves.
