Ingredients

  • 250 ml Olive Oil
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • - Green Peas
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 100 g Jeera

Instructions

  1. 1. Dry roast the oats in a pan on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until they turn slightly golden and aromatic. Set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
  3. 3. Add asafoetida, green chilies, and chopped capsicum. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the capsicum softens slightly.
  4. 4. Add chopped tomatoes, green peas, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes turn soft and the spices are well combined.
  5. 5. Add the roasted oats to the pan and mix well. Pour in a cup of hot water and stir to combine.
  6. 6. Cook the mixture on low heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats absorb the water and reach a soft consistency.
  7. 7. Turn off the heat, add lemon juice, and mix well. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
