Ingredients

  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 500 g Onion
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 500 g Poha
  • 200 g Table Salt
  • 100 g Red Mustard Seeds
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 1 l Soyabean Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash 2 cups of Tata Sampann Poha in cold water and let it drain completely.
  2. 2. Finely chop 1 large onion and 1 green chilli. Set them aside.
  3. 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of sunny soya fit refined soyabean oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Add 1 teaspoon of Zoff red mustard seeds to the pan and let them splutter.
  5. 5. Add the chopped onion and green chilli to the pan and sauté until the onions turn translucent.
  6. 6. Add a handful of curry leaves and sauté for a few more seconds.
  7. 7. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of Keya turmeric powder and a pinch of Keya Table Salt into the pan.
  8. 8. Add 1 teaspoon of Madhur refined sugar and mix well.
  9. 9. Gently add the drained poha to the pan and mix everything together until the poha is well coated with the spices.
  10. 10. Turn off the heat, squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the poha, and mix well.
  11. 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
