Ingredients
- 1 kg Beef Sirloin
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 50 g Honey
- 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
- 1 pc (approx. 250g-500g) Lettuce Iceberg
- - Rice Vinegar
- 250 g Cucumber
- 250 g Carrot
- 1 bunch Spring Onion
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, gochujang, black pepper, and salt to create a marinade. Add the beef strips and mix well. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef strips and cook for 5-7 minutes until caramelized and fully cooked. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- 3. In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar with a pinch of salt and toss the julienned cucumber and carrot in the mixture for a quick pickle.
- 4. Lay a large lettuce leaf flat, place a portion of cooked beef, pickled vegetables, and a sprinkle of spring onions in the center. Roll tightly to form a neat wrap.
- 5. Repeat with the remaining ingredients and serve the rolls immediately. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature as a delightful handheld meal.
