Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Chicken Whole
- 50 g Honey
- 80 g Soya Sauce
- 100G Oleo
- 1Kg Potato
- 100 g Unsalted Butter
- - Toned Milk
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil them in a pot until tender, approximately 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 2. While the potatoes are boiling, in a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and a pinch of salt. Set this glaze aside.
- 3. Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Reduce the heat to low and add the prepared honey glaze, coating the chicken evenly. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and glazed.
- 4. In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil, then add the boiled potatoes and mash them using a masher. Stir in butter, milk, cumin powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the potatoes are creamy.
- 5. Serve the honey glazed chicken alongside the mashed potatoes. Optionally, garnish with chopped fresh coriander for added flavor and presentation.
