Ingredients

  • 500G Poha (Flattened Rice)
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 100G Oleo
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the poha gently under running water in a colander for 1-2 minutes until softened. Set aside to drain completely.
  2. 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Then, add the chopped tomato and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. 4. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala, cooking for 1 minute to release the spices' aroma.
  5. 5. Add the softened poha to the pan and mix gently to coat it with the spices. Season with salt and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Toss in the roasted peanuts and fresh coriander leaves, mixing well. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to combine flavors.
  7. 7. Turn off the heat and finish with a drizzle of lemon juice. Mix well and serve warm.
