Ingredients
- 500G Poha (Flattened Rice)
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 100G Oleo
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the poha gently under running water in a colander for 1-2 minutes until softened. Set aside to drain completely.
- 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 3. Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Then, add the chopped tomato and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
- 4. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala, cooking for 1 minute to release the spices' aroma.
- 5. Add the softened poha to the pan and mix gently to coat it with the spices. Season with salt and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Toss in the roasted peanuts and fresh coriander leaves, mixing well. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to combine flavors.
- 7. Turn off the heat and finish with a drizzle of lemon juice. Mix well and serve warm.
