Ingredients

  • 6 pcs Licious Brown Eggs
  • 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch
  • 200 g Hello Tempayy Simply Natural Tempeh Crumbles
  • 2 x 295 g Britannia Nutrichoice Sugar Free Healthy & Digestive Crackers Cracker - Pack Of 2
  • 1 kg Twf Bread Flour T55 - Specialised Maida
  • 100 g Zoff Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Crush 1 cup of crackers into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or food processor and place them on a plate.
  2. 2. In a shallow bowl, beat 2 eggs and mix in 1 tsp of garlic powder.
  3. 3. Spread 1/2 cup of flour evenly on another plate.
  4. 4. Take 500 g of tempeh and pat them dry with a paper towel. Coat each piece lightly with the flour, ensuring all sides are covered.
  5. 5. Dip the floured tempeh into the beaten egg mixture, making sure they are fully coated.
  6. 6. Press the egg-coated tempeh into the crushed crackers, covering them completely with the crumbs.
  7. 7. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the breaded tempeh in the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
  8. 8. Remove the tempeh from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Serve immediately.
