Ingredients

  • 100 g Garlic
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Bell Peppers
  • 80 g Soya Chunks
  • 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 500 g Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak 200g of dried soy chunks in warm water for 15 minutes, then squeeze out excess water and set aside.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of gochujang paste, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 minced garlic clove. Mix well to form a marinade.
  3. 3. Add the soaked soy chunks to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
  4. 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated soy chunks and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are slightly crispy.
  5. 5. Add 1 sliced onion and 1 sliced bell pepper to the pan. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
