- 100 g Garlic
- 500 g Onion
- - Bell Peppers
- 80 g Soya Chunks
- 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 500 g Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Soak 200g of dried soy chunks in warm water for 15 minutes, then squeeze out excess water and set aside.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of gochujang paste, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 minced garlic clove. Mix well to form a marinade.
- 3. Add the soaked soy chunks to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
- 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated soy chunks and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are slightly crispy.
- 5. Add 1 sliced onion and 1 sliced bell pepper to the pan. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- 6. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds and 1 chopped green onion over the dish. Mix well and remove from heat.
- 7. Serve hot with steamed rice or as a side dish.
