Ingredients
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- 500 g Onion
- 60 g Seasoning - All Purpose
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
- 10G Salt
- 80 g Soya Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Prepare all ingredients: finely mince the onion and divide it into two portions—one for cooking (approximately 3/4 of the onion) and one for garnishing (approximately 1/4 of the onion). Beat the white eggs in a separate bowl until uniform. Ensure the rice is pre-cooked and cooled before proceeding.
- 2. Heat Champion Oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat until hot.
- 3. Add the larger portion of minced onion to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
- 4. Add the pre-cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the sautéed onion. Break up any clumps of rice using a spoon or spatula.
- 5. Push the rice mixture to one side of the skillet, creating space on the other side. Pour the beaten white eggs into the empty space and scramble them, stirring continuously, until they are fully cooked.
- 6. Once the eggs are cooked, mix them thoroughly with the rice and onion. Stir continuously to ensure the mixture is evenly heated and coated. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- 7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed (e.g., add salt or soy sauce, if desired).
- 8. Transfer the egg fried rice to a serving dish and garnish with the reserved portion of minced onion or green onions, if available. Serve hot.
