Ingredients
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- 250 g Chicken Bacon
- 1 Kg Taeyandcho Gochujang
- 220 g Sunchang Gung Doenjang Korean Soyabean Paste
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
Instructions
- 1. Place 6 large eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- 2. Remove the eggs from the saucepan and transfer them to an ice water bath to cool for 5 minutes. Peel the eggs once cooled.
- 3. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl.
- 4. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth. Add 1 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 tsp doenjang (fermented soybean paste), 1 tsp gochujang (Korean chili paste), 1/2 tsp sesame oil, and 1/4 tsp garlic powder. Mix until fully combined.
- 5. Stir in 2 tbsp finely chopped cooked bacon for added texture and flavor.
- 6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- 7. Garnish with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds, chopped green onions, and a pinch of gochugaru (Korean chili flakes).
