Ingredients

  • 100 g Broccoli Florets
  • 125 g Red Bell Pepper
  • 500 g Weikfield Cornstarch Amazingly Versatile Gluten Free
  • 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup cornstarch with 1 cup water to create a slurry and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Add 2 cups of chopped broccoli and 1 cup of sliced red bell peppers to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. 4. Remove the vegetables from the pan and set aside.
  5. 5. Add a pinch of hing (asafoetida) to the pan and stir briefly to release its aroma.
  6. 6. Return the vegetables to the pan and pour the cornstarch slurry over them. Stir well to coat the vegetables evenly.
  7. 7. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy. Serve hot.
