Ingredients

  • 250 g French Beans
  • 1 bunch Spring Onion
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 100 g Salt
  • 50 g Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 100 g Cornflour
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1 l Rice Bran Oil
  • 500 g Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into bite-sized cubes. Toss the cubes with cornstarch, turmeric powder, chili powder, and a pinch of salt to coat evenly.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tbsp of rice bran oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and pan-fry for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. Cook the lo mein noodles as per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same pan, add asafoetida, chopped bell peppers, shredded cabbage, and green beans. Stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crunchy.
  5. 5. Reduce the heat and mix in tomato puree, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, black pepper powder, spring onions and salt. Stir well to create a flavorful sauce.
  6. 6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss with the vegetable mixture. Ensure the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
  7. 7. Fold in the crispy tofu gently and cook for 2-3 minutes to combine all the flavors. Adjust seasoning if needed.
