Ingredients

  • 400 g Delichic Raw Chicken Stock Broth
  • 500 g Deli Chic Chicken Boneless Cubes (Freshly Frozen)
  • 100 g Milky Mist Cooking Unsalted Butter
  • 50 g On1Y Black Peppercorns With Grinder
  • 500 G Kinwaaquinoa
  • 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 1 cup of kinwaaquinoa and cook for 10-12 minutes until softened but still firm in the center. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of chicken stock to a simmer. Stir to combine.
  3. 3. Add the cooked kinwaaquinoa to the simmering stock and stir well. Cook over medium heat, stirring regularly, until the liquid is fully absorbed, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. 4. While the kinwaaquinoa is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add 2 cups of Deli Chic Chicken Boneless Cubes (Freshly Frozen) and sauté until cooked through and lightly browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  5. 5. Once the kinwaaquinoa has absorbed the stock, remove it from the heat. Stir in the sautéed chicken, 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, and season with 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper and additional salt to taste.
  6. 6. Serve the creamy chicken quinoa hot.
