A flavorful Asian-inspired stir-fry featuring tender ground turkey, crisp broccoli, and celery in a savory sauce. Perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 100 g Broccoli Florets
- 100 g Celery Stalk
- 200 g Ginger
- 640Ml Hisashi Shao Hsing Hua Tua Chiew
- 80 g Knorr Vegetables Stock Cubes
- 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 kg Whole Farm Brown Sugar
- 107 g Weikfield Corn Flour (Starch) -Gluten Free
Instructions
- 1. Heat a heavy large skillet or wok over high heat. Add 2 tbsp of vegetable stock dissolved in water and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes to create a flavorful base.
- 2. Add 2 cups of broccoli florets and 4 stalks of celery (sliced) to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the broccoli turns bright green and the celery softens slightly.
- 3. In a small bowl, mix 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp Shao Hsing Hua Tua Chiew, 1 tbsp brown sugar, and 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger. Pour this mixture into the skillet and stir to coat the vegetables evenly.
- 4. In another small bowl, dissolve 2 tbsp corn flour in 2 tbsp cold water to create a slurry. Add this to the skillet and reduce the heat to low.
- 5. Simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and serve hot over steamed rice.
